Timber!
The hollowed out sycamore with my ladder up to the perch got blown over on new years eve. Wow! I wish I could have been here to hear it crash. I bet it was awesome! The ladder is still attached to the trunk and unbroken. The bottom picture was taken this last summer. I think the tree was about 80ft tall, and my neighbor is my hero for cutting the limbs that blocked the drive
way, so when we got home from our trip we wouldn't have to unload the car 400 ft from the front door. 
Arriving home from the holidays
Fire pit is ready for action. An opposum got trapped and turned into a meat popsicle (like Bruce Willis in "The Fifth Element"). Hopefully next time I'll get a pesky raccoon.
Murder mystery party
I played the part of Otto VonSchnapps, German wine merchant.Dana was the beautiful Marylin Merlot. It was a great time. When the piece of wood is just a bit to long to go into the stove--get out the saw and show it who's boss.
